This course covers safety, rigging, sail trim, and steering.

  • Takes place in the classroom and on-the-water
  • Taught in 19’ Flying Scot Daysailors
  • Prerequisites: Sail Haven Membership
  • Course goal: Sail Haven Level 1 - Beginner rating for open sailing
    1. The third class of this series takes place on Sunday morning October 4th, due to the Dragon Boat Festival at the boathouse on Saturday morning, October 3rd. Thank you for your understanding and patience. 
  2. Please note: if you’re unable to make the first lesson in a course you will be rescheduled into another course.
