Come by the boathouse anytime between 5 and 7 PM for an Elm City Rowing Open House! This is a great opportunity to get oriented to the program, ask rowing related questions, and connect with the Elm City Rowing community — whether you’re a returning member, new to the program, or just curious.
This drop-in event will include:
- Orientation to the boathouse space and any updated procedures.
- A look at the boats available and how to sign them out.
- A walk-through of important safety information for the 2025 rowing season.
- Rowing members on hand to answer questions and share their experience.
An official Safety Orientation will be held at 6:00 PM, and we encourage all active rowers who haven’t attended one this season to join at that time.
This event is open to:
• Current members
• Friends and guests who are curious about joining
• Anyone looking for a refresher or update on recent changes

How to enter the boathouse:
Parking is available across the street from the boathouse on the street. Please come around the left side of the building to the harbor-side entrance and enter through the door or boat bay on the upriver side of the building closest to the water (and closest to Il Gabbiano's). Please do not come-and-go from the front doors of the building.
