Sail Haven Boat Maintenance Work Session #8 Wrap Up.
Despite a forecast of random showers, we had a beautiful day. 15 Folks showed up to help with the boats, and a lot was done! Most of the projects were to get the boats ready for sailing and in the water.
We did the following tasks:
- Buffed and waxed all four of the Sunfish.
- Bottom painted Flying Scot #1.
- Prepped the Nomad for bottom painting.
- Washed and waxed all six of the the 420s.
- Rig the bottom tackle for the Shallow Area warning marks.
- Reassembled the sunfish rudder heads (the rudders had been unassembled for varnishing).
