Sail Haven Boat Maintenance Work Session

Most of the repairs have been finished. We have many projects to get the boats ready for sailing and in the water. Opening Day is May 24th!!! Everything needs to be ready to sail!

We will be doing the following tasks:

• Washing and waxing the 420s.
• Buffing and waxing the Sunfish and Lasers.
• Bottom painting the Flying Scots and waxing the topsides.
• Retrieving the mooring Winter Sticks and re-attaching the mooring balls.
• Launching Carolina Skiff "Thing Two".
• Setting the "Shallow Area" warning marks.
• And many more tasks!

No experience necessary. We will have projects all laid out and experienced folks to lead you through them. Come and learn something new! We will be working inside the heated boathouse.

Saturday, May 10th, 1:30pm - 4:30pm. Note Time!!

The Next Work Session will be:

Saturday, May 17th, 9:30am - 12:30pm - We will be doing more boat prep and launching the daysailors in anticipation of our Opening Day, May 24th!
