Hopkins students, join the New Haven Community Boathouse Youth Fall Sculling Program for an exciting introduction to the sport of rowing! This comprehensive 6-week program combines both on-water training and land-based conditioning to provide participants with a complete sculling experience.

Program Highlights

Boat Types: Participants will have the opportunity to scull in single, double, and quattro shells, allowing for progressive skill development from individual technique to team coordination.

Training Focus: The program includes both on-water sculling instruction and land-based training to build strength, technique, and rowing fundamentals.

Schedule & Location

Training Days: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
Time: 4:15 - 5:45 PM
Duration: 1.5 hours per session

What to Expect

This fall sculling program is designed to introduce youth to the fundamentals of rowing while building confidence on the water. Participants will learn proper sculling technique, boat handling skills, and develop physical fitness through both water-based and land training components.
